About the event
Join us this winter for a three part series on caring for horses in winter. You'll learn tips on managing health, condition, feed, behavior, and more through seasonal changes and unpredicatable weather. This series is presented by SMEC's Instructor Laura Patrick. Each talk will cover a different topic and will have hands-on time as well. Come to 1, 2 or all 3!

February 6th- Equine Handling & Safety (managing behavior changes, safe handling in wintry conditions, etc.)
February 20th- Equine Health Management (nutrition, hydration, weight management, etc.)
March 6th- Equine Care Needs (blanketing, clipping, exercise, etc.)
